Kai was born July 30, 2012 at 6:07am. He weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. It was the most perfect thing when he came into this world!! A little about my labor... on sunday we did our regular schedule, got up and went to church, came home and relaxed a little bit. I don't remember what I was getting up for, I'm thinking it was to get us some ice cream (haha) but as soon as I got up I felt like I peed my pants! I went to the bathroom to check it out and decided that it wasn't pee.. MY WATER BROKE! Even though it was a week before my due date I had a bag packed and I was ready to go. So we got in the car and headed to the hospital. We got in and they did some test and stuff to make sure it was amniotic fluid and to see if I was ready to have the baby. It was about an hour until we got officially admitted, which was about 7 or 8 pm on Sunday night. We waited and waited, but nothing happened, I wasn't even having contractions! So they gave me pitocin to speed it up. Shortly after that I was getting contractions, got an epidural, rested for a little while, and then we were ready! When the nurse came in and told me I was at 9cm I didn't know what to think except for it's too late now, I gotta push this baby out!! As I was pushing Koko kept asking me if I was ok?! ...seriously?! ha ha why would you ask a woman that who is going through child birth at that moment!? I told him to stop asking me that because I didn't know how to answer it! What a sweetheart for caring though. So before you know it out came our sweet boy KAI! His cry was wonderful!

27 weeks, Profile

34 Weeks

Ahh he is going to be here is less than 6 weeks!!!! I can't wait. I am getting so nervous, anxious, excited, worried, happy, etc. I am so happy to be able to be a mom to this sweet little man. His nursery is all ready, for the most part. And I am getting all sorts of fun stuff at my baby showers So we are almost there. I have been home so much by myself that I can't wait to hang out with this little guy and he can keep me company! I know he is just going to be so perfect and I love him so much already. It is so special and personal to have him all to myself right now, but I can't wait to share him with my hubby and family and friends. Thanks to everyone who has been so kind and helpful to me, it means so much. I have had a great pregnancy, with very little worries or sickness. I am a lucky girl.

Baby on the way!

Koko and I are so excited and happy that we have a sweet little baby boy on the way. We have two nephews already and they are all going to be so close in age, I am excited for them to grow up together and do cute little boy things. We hope we will be good parents and talk about it all time, like what we would do in certain situations. We look around at so many great examples of parents and hope to apply those good skills as we learn and grow. I can't wait to see my little boy!

VACATION!!

Our vacation was incredible! I just can't explain how beautiful it was! We had such a great time, here are some pictures! 

Beautiful Beach!

We went snorkeling. It was incredible. We swam with beautiful fish, but then got a little scared when we were floating right above a sting ray!

We woke to see the sunrise on our last day. It is the most beautiful thing to see!

Tulum

Mayans. When we were in Tulum I saw a shirt that said "Where would you rather spend the end of the world? :Tulum Mayan Ruins December 21,2012." It was funny.. I almost got it ha ha.

Koko and I were so excited when we saw this life size chess game. It is the first time has ever and will ever beat me! :) We had a lot of fun playing it.

ANNIVERSARY

Our anniversary was amazing!!! We went on a trip to Cancun, Mexico. It was incredible and beautiful. We celebrated our one year anniversary sitting on the white sand beach looking onto the crystal clear ocean. We are so happy to be married and sealed in the temple and are looking forward to many more years and awesome vacations together! pictures will come soon :)

laundry,laundry,laundry.

So, Koko and I let our laundry pile up pretty high for the last month, so I am finally getting to it. I am on my third load right now and thought I'd take a break and do a quick update. We are looking forward to our first anniversary!! It has gone so quickly, but it has just been so great! I love my husband. We are having fun being mommy and daddy to our pretty blue eyed baby husky.. she is almost one too! She drives us crazy sometimes but she is my little sweetheart. We were hugging today and Akeeta found her way right in between us, it was so sweet. We also just got some more kiddos in our lives, because we got called as nursery leaders and cub scout leaders in our ward. We have only been in for about a month, but we are loving it! We are still figuring it all out, but the kids we teach are so adorable! We are loving our ward and neighborhood. We are still just working and enjoying life, and looking forward to the summer and warmer weather! ...I better get back to laundry!

Welcome to Our Family AKEETA!!

We just got a puppy!! Her name is Akeeta and she is a 6 1/2 month old Siberian Husky! We love her!! 

She has beautiful blue eyes!

She picked out her very own toy at the store. It a silly frog and it squeaks.
